Heavens Way of Saying - the family home of Margaret and Claude Yett, Sevierville, Tennessee.

Between heaven and earth, a rainbow arcs overhead bent upon a certain promise.

Along Old Douglas Dam Road at the foothills of the Smokies, a farm community of friends has thrived in graceful homes built over a hundred years ago. Just like family, they watch over each other and help tend each others children... nursing their hurts and nurturing their dreams. Generations come and go but change moves slowly down these country lanes - except for the unstoppable passage of seasons. Again this spring, dogwoods bloom downy white, April rains swell the wet weather creek, stretches of meadow lie in the warm sun under a thick green cloak and skies deepen to dusky violet with the fall of afternoon shadows. The same as every year... someone who had witnessed the seasons turning from this farm home for over eight decades is no longer here to see it.

Yet her presence is palpable. The lives she touched, the flowers she planted - the love she spent as freely as the heavens opening up to spill four sister pastels in one perfect prism across the very place on earth she cherished most. What we struggle to put into words is simply better understood in "Heaven's Way of Saying."
